June 14th marked our 5th wedding anniversary, so Charles and I headed down to Savannah for 4 days while Joni got to have fun with Grandma Isbell and Cody for the weekend. I think this was her first time without both her parents for that long. The only other time would be when I was in the hospital having Cody but even then Charles came home to check on her. She did well, we returned on Father’s Day and spent that day hugging and kissing on the kids. It was a much needed break, but boy it felt good to be at home with our babies again.
