Joni has really gotten into going to church lately for 2 reasons. 1, she likes getting dressed up finally. She loves the dresses, the shoes, the pretty hair and even occasionally the stockings. In fact, when it moved to warmer weather I had to convince it was OK to go stockingless! The second reason she likes going is for the social interaction. Joni just started a new school, Fayette Montessori. One of the girls in her class, Jada, also goes to our church so they were quick and easy friends. On the Sundays Jada’s family is out of town, Joni still has a ball with the other little boys and girls her age (and there are quite a few of them as 2004/2005 was a BUSY baby year!) Anyway, it’s been nice to have her actually asking me if we are going to church on Sundays, it keeps Mommy going even when I feel like a lazy Sunday.
